I'm a designer and photographer living in Hobart, Indiana and I've been interested in art for as long as I can remember. I was always sketching, or doodling; coming up with random stories to go along with the pictures in my head. It wasn't really until I discovered digital art, that I had found a real outlet for those images. 

Throughout the years of doing various design projects for print, I found it increasingly more difficult to find many of the images I needed to get exactly the look I was after. If I did, they were expensive or weren't quite right. It became more and more apparent, over time, that I needed to take matters into my own hands.

That journey has eventually led me down the path to photography and a whole new set of challenges and things to learn. Most photographers learn to shoot first and then learn how to edit -- I did the opposite. That's just my style: teaching myself, making mistakes, and learning by doing.
